The Filipino-Japanese Foundation of Northern Luzon Inc. is a private, non-stock, non-profit corporation duly registered with Securities and Exchange Commission on September 23, 1987. It is duly licensed in 1995 by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as a Non-Government Organization (NGO) to operate as a youth and family Social Welfare Agency.

The Foundation was founded on the principle that the corporate responsibility encompasses a social magnitude and importance. Its creation was inspired by the late Sister Theresia Unno, FMM, retired Japanese nun from the congregation of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary.
